Jantar Mantar Protest: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) chief spokesperson Saurav Das stated that the government is planning to detain him and several other party leaders, including Abhijeet Dipke and Ashutosh Ranka, ahead of the October 10 protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Urging protesters to mobilise for the demonstration, Das claimed the Centre would be mistaken to believe such "dictatorial actions" could suppress their movement. “The younger generation has awakened. We appeal to everyone to continue fighting for our rights and future, with or without us,” he said.
🚨URGENT NEWS🚨 The government is planning on arresting me, Abhijeet, Ashutosh, Ratna and other Cockroach Janta Party leaders. If the government thinks that such dictatorial actions will work, then they are mistakened! The young generation has awakened. We appeal to everyone to continue fighting for our rights and future, with or without us. We have always been ready to face the jail or worse. But this will be a big mistake. The young will not tolerate this. The protests must continue. People of India should ensure the biggest mobilisation starting October 10th. @Cockroachisback

As the protest continues, the agitators continue demanding resignation from the Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral process.
Dipke Slams Amit Shah
Sharing a late-night tweet on Sunday, Das said, "We have always been ready to face jail or worse. But this will be a big mistake. The young will not tolerate this. The protests must continue. People of India should ensure the biggest mobilisation starting October 10.”
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, echoed similar claims, criticising the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. "Kitno ko arrest karoge @AmitShah? 10 Oct ko poora desh aa raha hai (How many people will you arrest, Amit Shah? The whole country is coming on October 10," Dipke tweeted a little after midnight.
The posts came hours following protests held outside Parliament Street police station on Sunday following allegations by a woman journalist that Delhi Police personnel had molested and sexually assaulted her during agitation.
The Anti-CEC protest
The protest in Delhi and Mumbai came after a controversy over a report by The Indian Express that the two Election Commissioners had raised objections to the aspects of the SIR 14 times over the past 10 months. The Election Commission denied the report's claims, saying that differing views and comments were a normal part of discussions, but all decisions taken were unanimous.
Earlier this year, the CJP staged a protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar on July 20 over the NEET paper leak, demanding the resignation of then Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Following the 36-day agitation, Pradhan finally resigned as the Union Education Minister and was replaced by Prahlad Joshi.
