Noida Dowry Death: The autopsy report of 25-year-old Deepika Nagar, who allegedly died after falling from the balcony of her residence in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida amid torture and harassment over dowry demands, has revealed shocking details. In the report, serious external and internal injuries were highlighted. It mentions - bleeding in left ear, wound in waist/abdomen area, and a ruptured spleen along with bone-deep wound. 

Deepika Nagar’s Autopsy Details

Details of the the autopsy are as follows:

-A swelling on the right side of the face

-Injury on the left elbow joint

-Injury on the left forearm

-A big contusion on the right thigh

-Bone-deep wound on the left knee joint

-Wound on the lower abdomen area

-Contusion found above the right iliac crest

-Injury marks found around right arm

-Bleeding from the left ear

-Deep abrasion marks on the left side of the chest and abdomen

Internal Examination Findings

-Blood clotting in the middle and left side of the brain

-Ruptured spleen

-Left kidney looked pale

-Heart chambers were found empty

-Internal bleeding in parts of the body

The tragic incident occurred in the Jalpura area under Ecotech-III police station limits on Sunday night. Deepika Nagar was married for the past 1.5 years with her family spending nearly a crore on wedding celebrations.

Family Claims Deepika Was Mentally, Physically Harassed For Dowry

Deepika’s family has claimed that their daughter was tortured both mentally and physically for dowry. Meanwhile, police have arrested Deepika’s husband and father-in-law. "Based on a complaint filed by the victim's family members, the woman's husband, Ritick Tanwar, and father-in-law have been arrested in connection with this case," the police officer added.

In-Laws Unhappy With Dowry, Demanded More

During the wedding in December 2024, Deepika was given a Scorpio car, Rs 11 lakh in cash along with Rs 50 lakh gold. Apart from this, the family had also given furniture. Her in-laws, however, demanded additional Rs 50 lakh in cash along with a Fortuner car, stated a complaint by victim's father Sanjay Nagar.
