One person was killed in a shooting incident that occurred after an argument between two parties near Sector 137 Metro Station in Noida. The body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy. Besides, three teams have been formed to nab the suspects. Prima facie, the incident seems to be related to a property dispute.
DCP Central Noida, Shakti Mohan Awasthi, said there was a property dispute between Navendra Kumar Jha from Sector 92, Ghaziabad, and an individual from Khoda. According to news agency PTI, the deceased was in a property dispute with a person named Neeraj Gupta. The matter is currently in court.
As per a report in Jagran.com, both sides met near Noida Sector 137 Metro Station to talk over an ongoing property dispute. In a fit of rage, Jha was shot in the head. The police reached the crime spot after being apprised about the incident. The victim was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The police have stated that the deceased was a resident of Khoda Colony. The investigation has revealed that there have been several disputes between the two parties in the past as well. Inspector Pushpraj Singh of Sector 142 police station mentioned that the victim was admitted to Felix Hospital in Sector 137 in a serious condition, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.

He also stated that several teams have been formed to arrest those responsible for the incident, and the culprits will be apprehended soon.
