Noida Traffic News:  Noida traffic police issued a fresh traffic advisory, warning people against leaving their vehicles, including motorcycles and cars, in no-parking zones during their festival shopping this festive season. The police have cautioned that such vehicles will be heavily penalised or towed away. In addition to the warning, Gautam Buddh Nagar traffic police have also issued a route diversion advisory for the upcoming festivals of Dhanteras, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj, stating that these traffic restrictions will be applied to the routes near market areas in Noida and Greater Noida.

These areas will see traffic diversions:
Atta market, Sector 27 market, Indira Market, GIP Mall, Gardens Galleria Mall, DLF Mall of India, Centre Stage Mall, Shopprix Mall, around Sector 18 market, Logix City Centre Mall, Botanical Garden, and near Hoshiarpur in Noida.

According to the advisory, these areas will witness route diversion as heavy traffic has been observed there during the festive season.

Greater Noida areas that will see traffic diversions:
As per the advisory, Kisan Chowk, Surajpur, Jagat Farm, Pari Chowk, Kasna, and Dadri towns, among other places in Greater Noida, will experience traffic diversions.

"People would be able to park their vehicles in designated parking zones and at various multilevel parking in the city, like the one in Sector 18," police said.

"If a vehicle is found parked in a no-parking zone, e-challans will be issued, and if the vehicle is not removed from the road, then legal action would be taken by towing it away with a crane," they said.

In the advisory, police have also requested residents to cooperate with the cops during the festivities of Dhanteras, Diwali, and Bhai Dooj. According to the advisory, if any traffic-related inconvenience arises, people can contact the helpline number 9971009001.
