Noida Police issued a traffic advisory to manage vehicular movement during the Kanwar Yatra 2024 in the city. The Noida Traffic Police announced that the route from Chilla Red Light to Pakshi Vihar Gate will be completely closed to all vehicular traffic, starting today till August 4. Traffic policemen will be deployed at the permanent traffic booth near the Chilla Border to monitor and manage traffic. 

Additionally, only those carrying Kanwar and those involved in setting up camps will be allowed to pass through Sector-14A Shani Temple via Okhla Bird Sanctuary. During the passage of the Kanwar group, traffic policemen will halt other vehicles to give way to the Kanwariyas.

Vehicles travelling to Bulandshahr, Hapur, and Moradabad via Ghaziabad must follow designated alternative routes. Only emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass through the diverted routes.

Alternative Routes

Vehicles from the Delhi-Badarpur Border via Okhla Barrage to Noida, heading towards Bulandshahr, Hapur, and Moradabad via Ghaziabad, should use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. Similarly, vehicles from Delhi via DND flyover to Noida towards the same destinations should also use the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
