Hyderabad Numaish 2025: A shocking incident took place in the Numaish Exhibition, underway in Hyderabad, when a ride malfunctioned leaving the people stuck upside down for nearly half an hour. The incident took place on Thursday when the ride malfunctioned due to unexpected battery issues. 

The video of the incident went viral on the internet and has garnered nearly 2.5 lakh views as of now. “This is why I am scared of rides - battery issues!! An amusement ride at Hyderabad's Numaish got stuck upside down for more than 25 minutes on Thursday evening, January 16,” the caption of the video reads.

People showed concern about the safety of people. One user commented, “They operated on Electric Power, i believed! Thank God, I don't take These Topsy Turvy Rides... wud Hate to do this Forced Yoga, if at all. Can imagine the Plight of all within... and hope the extended Reversal didn't or doesn't cause Health Issues to anyone.” Another X user said, “So scary situation..! These informal amusement rides should be regulated properly with strict procedures before giving permission.”

In response to the incident, Surender Reddy, secretary of the Numaish Exhibition Society, said that a battery issue led to the ride stopping unexpectedly. He dismissed reports that passengers were stuck upside down for 25 minutes and said that the issue was resolved in less than five minutes and the ride resumed, reported Hindustan Times.

The Numaish Exhibition, a popular annual event in Hyderabad, attracts thousands of visitors daily. Organisers have reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all attendees.
