In a show of unity, the opposition INDIA alliance will take out a joint protest march on Monday at 11:30 am against the special intensive revision of voter lists in Bihar and alleged electoral rigging. 

Security has been bolstered and barricades have been put up outside the Transport Bhawan as the INDIA Bloc leaders are set to stage a ‘vote chori’ march from the Parliament to the ECI office. Rahul Gandhi will lead the march from Parliament House to the Election Commission office, along with other opposition leaders.

Barricades have also been put outside the Election Commission office, ahead of the opposition protest march. 

Bihar SIR: Opposition Demands Meeting With Election Commission

The INDIA alliance has sought time to meet the Chief Election Commissioner and both Election Commissioners to reiterate their demands. The opposition parties have been demanding a discussion on the Bihar revision in the monsoon session, but the government has refused, citing that the issue is under court consideration.

Parliament Suspended Amid Uproar

The ongoing deadlock between the ruling party and the opposition has resulted in the continuous adjournment of Parliament proceedings since the discussion of Operation Sindoor. Despite the government passing some important bills amid uproar, the opposition is not ready to stop its campaign against the alleged bias of the Election Commission and electoral rigging.

Kharge To Host Dinner For INDIA Bloc MPs

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will host a dinner meeting for the INDIA bloc MPs on Monday to strengthen their united fight against alleged electoral fraud and manipulation.

The meeting will focus on closely monitoring the Election Commission's preparations for revision in Bihar and other states, as well as discussing the Commission's attitude towards Rahul Gandhi's claims of alleged manipulation in voter lists and vote theft in elections.
