Days after the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted precision strikes against Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, a new analysis of the damage suggests that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) lost 6 fighter jets, two high-value aircraft, over 10 UCAVs, and one C-130 transport aircraft, along with multiple cruise missiles.
PAF suffered these losses from attacks by Indian air-launched cruise missiles and surface-to-air- air missiles.
The news agency ANI reported, based on sources involved in the operation, that technical analysis of the data available with the IAF, six of the Pakistan Air Force fighter aircraft were shot down in the air during operations.
One high-value asset, which could either be an electronic countermeasures aircraft or an Airborne Early Warning or Control Aircraft, was taken out by Sudarshan's (S-400) long-range strike at distances of around 300 km, they said.

The report further stated that the strikes at Bholari airbase using air-to-surface cruise missiles during the four-day conflict between both countries resulted in the loss of another AEWC aircraft of Swedish origin.
The officials said that there are inputs about the presence of fighter jets in the hangar. Since the Pakistanis are not taking out debris from the hangers, "we are not counting the fighter aircraft losses on the ground", they said.
The report stated that the Pakistani jets were intercepted by the IAF radars and air defence missile systems. They were seen vanishing after being hit by the air defence systems.
The C-130 transport aircraft was lost by Pakistan during drone strikes by the IAF in the Pakistani Punjab.
The IAF only used air-launched cruise missiles to target Pakistani bases, and no surface-to-surface BrahMos missiles were used in the attacks, they said.
In one of the precision strikes by Rafale and Su-30 jets on a hangar, a significant number of Chinese Wing Loong series medium-altitude long-endurance drones were destroyed, the report said.
Over 10 UCAVs were also destroyed by the IAF air defence systems over Pakistani airspace, along with large-scale interception of Pakistani air and ground launched cruise and ballistic missiles aimed at different air bases, they said.
