During the investigation into the Parliament breach case, it was learnt that the attack had been planned months ago. From the hotel in Rajasthan Lalit was continuously keeping an eye on ongoing developments and police movements through news channels.

The investigation also revealed that two pairs of shoes were made on special order in Lucknow, as the accused discovered that shoes do not get checked in Parliament and this can be an easy way to carry the smoke canister inside the parliament.

Amid an ongoing row over the Parliament security breach, BJP and TMC exchanged a war of words as the parties blamed each other for the incident. On Thursday, West Bengal BJP chief Dr Sukanto Majumdar shared purported images showing Lalit Jha, the mastermind behind the Parliament breach case, with Trinamool Congress leader which has become a fresh contention between TMC and saffron party.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party accused TMC and the entire INDIA bloc of being complicit in the breach, the Trinamool has pointed out that it is the BJP's Mysuru MP who has been accused of playing a key role in providing a pass to the two intruders.
