The Delhi Police On Thursday arrested the mastermind behind the major security breach in Parliament that took place on December 13. The sixth accused identified as Lalit Mohan Jha was arrested from Delhi. The Kolkata-based teacher was on the run was on the run for almost two days.

Lalit Jha reached the Kartavya Path police station with a man and was handed over to the Special Cell, news agency PTI reported. "Lalit Jha came to Kartavya Path Police station where he was arrested. He was handed over to Special Cell which is investigating the incident," an officer was quoted as saying by PTI.
Earlier in the day, the fifth accused involved in the incident identified as Vishal Sharma, who reportedly provided shelter to the four people involved in the security breach case was arrested by the police from Gurugram.
While the two intruders identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D, who jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery and released coloured smoke from the canisters, were overpowered by some MPs who were present in the house who thrashed them and handed them over to the ward staff. They were later arrested by the police.
Two other accused identified as Anmol Sharma and Nelam Devi, who protested and shouted slogans outside Parliament were also arrested by the police. The accused have been charged under anti-terror law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, besides various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Earlier in the day, the accused were presented before special judge for NIA cases Hardeep Kaur by the Delhi Police. The police requested their judicial interrogation for 15 days. However, the court sent them to seven-day police custody.
The police interrogation also revealed that one of the accused admitted that they wanted to enact the revolutionary action of Bhagat Singh, who threw bombs inside the Central Assembly during British rule in India. They planned to throw pamphlets in Parliament, PTI reported citing police.
