Patna Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Indian Railways is about to launch the first-ever sleeper version of the Vande Bharat Express, offering an overnight travel option between Patna and New Delhi. This new service, unlike the daytime Vande Bharat trains, will cover the 1,000 km route in just eight hours, reaching speeds of up to 160 km/h.
With 16 modern coaches, the Vande Bharat Sleeper promises to combine the premium comfort of the Rajdhani Express with the cutting-edge technology of the Vande Bharat, transforming the way passengers experience overnight journeys.

The sleeper variant of the Vande Bharat Express is designed specifically for overnight travel, offering a level of comfort and convenience that sets it apart from traditional sleeper trains. Here’s what passengers can expect:
Sleeper Berths: Instead of the chair-car seating found on daytime trains, this version is equipped with ergonomically designed sleeper berths that ensure a comfortable rest.
Modern Interiors: The train features stylish, contemporary interiors with soft lighting and padded berths, making the ride feel more like a hotel than a train.
Tech and Hygiene Features: Passengers will benefit from auto-sensing doors, bio-digester toilets with touch-free fittings, and free high-speed Wi-Fi to stay connected throughout the journey.
Safety & Security: The Vande Bharat Sleeper includes state-of-the-art safety measures, such as crash-worthy coaches, an anti-collision system, CCTV cameras, and full compliance with fire safety standards.
Patna-Delhi Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Check Travel Time, Fare and Frequency
The Patna Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will operate six days a week between Patna and New Delhi, offering a quick and comfortable alternative to other trains on this busy route. With 16 coaches and hundreds of berths, this service is designed to help ease congestion and provide a more modern travel option for passengers.
Though the exact fare is yet to be confirmed, it is expected to be in line with the prices of other premium services like the Rajdhani Express. For reference, trains such as the Rajdhani, Tejas, and Humsafar currently operate on the Patna-Delhi route, with travel times ranging from 12 to 14 hours. Fares for these trains generally range from Rs 1,200 to Rs 4,100.
