Patna Flights Update: In a major relief to the passengers, Air India and Air India Express will operate 166 additional flights to and from Patna to manage the surge in passengers due to the upcoming festivals Diwali and Chhath. The airlines announced that the flights will operate from several cities to the capital city of Bihar, providing convenience to the passengers returning to their hometowns. They further announced that the additional flights will operate for almost 18 days between October 15 and November 2.

In its statement, Air India stated that the extra services will significantly provide relief to the passengers from the key cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata. “Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Patna also enable seamless connections via Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru to and from other parts of the country as well as to destinations in the Middle East and Europe,” the release stated.

Air India Additional Services: Check Details

Apart from the additional flight services, Air India is operating 42 weekly flights to Patna from Delhi and Mumbai. Air India stated that the passengers can book the tickets online, further advising them to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

In separate news, Air India Express on October 10 announced the launch of direct flights from Bengaluru, its largest station, to three new destinations in the Middle East: Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
