Patna will soon have two new Vande Bharat Express trains connecting it with Lucknow and Siliguri. The timetable of the Patna-Siliguri train has been decided, while the Patna-Lucknow train will be announced shortly.

The Patna-Siliguri train will be operated by North Frontier Railway and will cover 471 km in seven hours at an average speed of 67.28 km per hour. It will depart from Siliguri at 6 am and reach Patna Junction at 1 pm, and vice versa. It will remain closed on Tuesdays and will be maintained at New Jalpaiguri station.

The Patna-Lucknow train will run via Ayodhya and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction railway station. It will leave Patna around 6 am and return from Lucknow by 10:30 pm. The new rake of this train arrived at Rajendra Nagar from DDU on Saturday and is kept in Rajendra Nagar Coaching Complex. The trial run and testing work of this train will begin on Sunday.

Both trains are expected to start running from next week, but this has not been officially confirmed. The Vande Bharat Express trains are semi-high speed trains with modern features and amenities to provide passengers with a comfortable travel experience.
