Jagran Correspondent, Ghaziabad: If you are planning to buy land for a home, shop, or business in the Delhi-NCR region, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is organising a mega property auction on July 17, 2026. The auction will feature plots across 19 authority schemes, offering options for residential, commercial, and industrial use, as well as group housing, individual shops, hotels, community centres, schools, and hospitals.

GDA Property Auction: Deadline And How To Apply

Speaking to Jagran.com, GDA Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Kanika Kaushik stated that interested applicants can apply through both online and offline modes until July 13.

- Online submissions can be made through the GDA website.

- For those preferring the offline method, applications will be received and deposited at the HDFC Bank branch located in RDC, Rajnagar.

Single Platform For Investors And Buyers

The official further stated that the GDA has provided a single platform for buyers and investors across various categories. The auction features a mix of residential, commercial, and institutional plots, a move expected to significantly benefit both individual buyers and large-scale investors.

Mega Property Auction On July 17

The GDA recently generated revenue of approximately Rs 213 crore from its recent plot auction. Building on this momentum, OSD Kaushik confirmed that all preparations are complete for the upcoming July 17 auction, adding that only applicants who apply on time will be eligible to participate.

DDA Housing Schemes 2026

In a separate development, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched two housing schemes to provide affordable flats to people across various income groups.

These schemes target the High-Income Group (HIG), Middle-Income Group (MIG), Low-Income Group (LIG), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), offering them the opportunity to purchase homes at affordable rates. Allotment of the flats is done on a 'first-come, first-served' basis, giving eligible applicants a direct opportunity to own a home in Delhi.
