NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was welcomed and felicitated with thunderous applause amid chants of 'Har Har Mahadev', on the success of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, at the the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda were present at the Parliament Library Building.
Addressing NDA MPs, PM Modi said the strategy of the Opposition backfired on them. He mocked the Opposition saying 'aisa vipaksh kahan milega jo khud ki fajihat karvata ho' (where will you get such Opposition who embarrass themself?).
A resolution on Operation Sindoor was passed in the NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting, highlighting after Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister ensured 59 Members of Parliament from across parties visited 32 countries to present India’s point of view. "This is one of the most comprehensive global outreach ever launched by India, highlighting how the country has been a victim of terror and why a terror attack in any one part of the world is a crime against humanity across the globe. The participation of Opposition MPs shows the maturity of our democracy and the statesmanship of the Prime Minister, who believes that in matters of national interest, we are all together," it read.

Crucial Meeting Ahea Of Vice President's Poll
The meeting of NDA members comes days before the Vice President's elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to discuss the name of its candidate for the post with the allies before the nomination. The nomination for the Vice President's election will begin on August 7.
The NDA meeting comes a couple of days before the filing of nominations for the vice president's election begins on August 7. The NDA will have to announce its candidate by August 21, the last date of nomination-filing and the Monsoon session of Parliament. The victory of the NDA candidate for the Vice President post will be a certainty due to the alliance's majority in the electoral college.
The NDA MPs' meeting comes in the middle of the Parliament session which has been all but a washout so far, except for a two-day discussion on the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, due to a united opposition's ceaseless protests against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar by the Election Commission.
