As the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) moved from South Block to its new address inside the Seva Teerth complex on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signed several key files, focusing on the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and vulnerable citizens.
In his first set of decisions from Seva Teerth, the Prime Minister approved the launch of the PM RAHAT scheme and announced a major expansion of the Lakhpati Didi initiative. Additionally, he doubled the outlay of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and approved the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0.

PM RAHAT Scheme Launched
Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the launch of the PM RAHAT scheme, which aims to provide accident victims with cashless treatment of up to Rs 1.5 lakh. Officials stated the initiative is intended to prevent loss of life by providing immediate and cashless medical assistance in case of emergencies.
Lakhpati Didi Mission Expansion
The government announced that it has surpassed the milestone of three crore 'Lakhpati Didis' ahead of the original March 2027 deadline. Building on the momentum, the government has set a new target of six crore Lakhpati Didis by March 2029.
The Lakhpati Didi initiative aims to empower women linked to self-help groups to earn at least Rs 1 lakh annually through sustainable livelihood activities.

Agricultural Infrastructure Fund Outlay Doubled
In a big move to strengthen the agricultural sector, the Prime Minister doubled the outlay of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund from Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore. The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund facilitates the development of post-harvest management infrastructure and community farming assets such as warehouses, cold-storage units and processing facilities.
Officials stated that the increased allocation aims to strengthen the agriculture value chain and boost farmers' income.
Startup India Fund Of Funds 2.0 Approved
To position India as a global innovation hub, PM Modi has approved Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 with a Rs 10,000 crore corpus. This new fund is expected to support early-stage ventures and high-growth sectors such as deep tech and advanced manufacturing.
