PM Modi Bihar Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Vande Bharat train from Patliputra to Gorakhpur and launched key developmental projects worth Rs 5,000 crore in Bihar’s Siwan on Friday. On his two-day visit to three states, Bihar, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of a range of development projects in Odisha and Bihar.

“The second in only 20 days and the fifth this year,” said the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Choudhary, on PM visit to Siwan. PM Modi's visit to Bihar is an indication of the government's priority towards the development of the state, he added. PM Modi is also scheduled to address a rally in Bihar.

PM Narendra Modi is set to announce budgetary allocations for roads, railways, airports, infrastructure development and entrepreneurship, said a BJP official.

PM Modi To Launch Projects Worth Rs 5,000 Crore In Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 22 projects worth Rs 5,736 crore on June 20 in Siwan.

PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train from Patlipura to Gorakhpur via Muzaffarpur and Betiiah. He will also inaugurate the 29-km Vaishali-Deoria railway line on Friday. He will lay down the foundation stone of 11 new projects of the Amrit Bharat scheme.

He will also allocate funds for several projects, including Rs 69 crore for the Bettiah Water Supply Project in West Champaran, Rs 19 crore for Chapra Water Supply in Saran, Rs 400 crore for Motihari Sewage Management in East Champaran, Rs 138 crore for the Ara Water Supply Project in Bhojpur and Rs 135 crore for the 500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System for 15 grid substations in Bihar.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of a sewage treatment plant in Digha Zones and Kankarbagh Zones of Patna. Sewage network facilities will be enhanced in several areas. He will also begin the first export locomotive to Guinea from the Locomotive Factory in Marhowra in Saran.

In the first instalment of PM Awas Yojana, he will allocate more than Rs 510 crore to more than 50,000 people. “6,684 urban poor families will receive keys to their new houses,” said a former state unit president of the BJP.
