Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today inaugurate the tenth edition of the Raisina Dialogue, a three-day major conference on geopolitics and geo-economics. Representatives from 125 countries, including New Zealand's Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, the Director of US National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard and Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, will participate in the deliberation.  

New Zealand PM Luxon will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session. The Raisina Dialogue is being organised by the Observer Research Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs.

The Ministry of External Affairs informed on Sunday that various countries’ representatives, including ministers, former heads of state and government, military commanders, industry and technology leaders, academics, journalists, experts on strategic matters, and leading think tank specialists, will be participating.

Officials stated that foreign ministers from 20 countries will be taking part in the dialogue. The visit of Ukraine's Foreign Minister to India comes at a time when the US is trying to broker a ceasefire with Russia.

Besides Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Foreign Ministers from Cuba, Slovenia, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Moldova, Georgia, Sweden, Slovakia, Bhutan, Maldives, Norway, Thailand, Antigua and Barbuda, Peru, Ghana, Hungary, and Mauritius will also participate.

This year's dialogue theme is "Cycles of Time – People, Peace, and Planet." According to the Ministry of External Affairs, more than 3,500 participants from nearly 125 countries will attend the event in person.

On Sunday, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar met with New Zealand's Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, who is on a visit to India from March 16 to 20.
