According to protocol, the aircraft was immediately reported to the appropriate authorities and escorted to the isolation bay after safely landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai, where every passenger was disembarked.
A crew member discovered a message that read 'bomb on board', according to a Sahar police station official.
The passengers were told of the threat shortly after landing, and a search of the passengers and their luggage was underway, though nothing suspicious had been discovered so far, according to the official.
