The gruesome murder of Radhika Yadav, a 25-year-old national-level Tennis player, has shocked the nation. While her father, Deepak Yadav, has confessed to his crime and has been arrested, new layers are getting unveiled in the case. The tennis academy, which became a bone of contention between the father and daughter and eventually became a reason for the murder, was funded by Deepak, according to a report by NDTV.

The report suggests that Deepak invested Rs 2 crore in the academy for Radhika after she sustained a shoulder injury and her career as a player came to a halt. Deepak had been a supportive father throughout Radhika's career.

Deepak was not against Radhika's music video

Meanwhile, a music video of Radhika has also surfaced. The report claims that Deepak not only took her to the sets but also spent 11 hours there. This is contradictory to several claims that Deepak was against Radhika's music video.

However, Deepak is a short-tempered person and was reportedly suspicious of both his wife and daughter. According to the above-mentioned report, he once scolded his wife only for talking to his brother.

The loving and supportive father shot her daughter after he visited his native village recently. Some of the villagers there taunted him for supporting her daughter on everything and even allegedly called him 'Gira Hua Baap'.

This angered short-tempered Deepak. He returned home and confronted Radhika, pressing her to close the academy. Upon which, she refused, reminding him that he was the one who funded it.

The confrontation led him to simmer for three days, during which he also thought of dying by suicide. However, on Tuesday night, he shot Radhika dead. The autopsy has confirmed death by bullet injuries. Four bullet fragments have been found on her body, and the bullets have been removed.

Amid rumours of many causes, the police today confirmed that the tennis academy was the centre of dispute between the father-daughter duo.
