RailOne App Ticket Discount: In a move to enhance passenger convenience and promote digital ticketing, Indian Railways has introduced a special 3 per cent discount on unreserved ticket bookings made through the RailOne mobile app. The scheme, which began on January 14, will remain in effect until July 14, 2026.
The RailOne app is witnessing rapid growth in popularity, particularly in the East Central Railway zone. According to official data, between January 14 and January 19, more than two lakh passengers booked tickets via the RailOne app, generating over Rs 20 lakh in revenue for the zone.

Chief Public Relations Officer Saraswati Chandra stated that the Railways will continue to strengthen such digital facilities in the coming days to ensure passengers receive a safer, simpler, and more convenient travel experience.
Passengers booking unreserved tickets on the RailOne app using digital payment methods, UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking (excluding R-Wallet), will receive a direct 3 per cent discount.
Additionally, tickets booked through the app’s R-Wallet already attract a 3 per cent cashback bonus. This dual benefit across various digital payment options is providing passengers with added value and encouragement to go cashless.
The primary objective of the initiative is to motivate passengers to purchase tickets digitally, reduce cash transactions, simplify the booking process, and support the Digital India campaign.
The RailOne mobile app serves as a one-stop platform offering multiple services, including booking of reserved, unreserved, and platform tickets, along with live train location tracking, PNR status, coach position, food booking, complaint and suggestion registration, and parcel tracking.
