The South Eastern Railway division has announced the indefinite suspension of several Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) train services starting early January, citing operational requirements. This includes the train running between Dhanbad and Bankura will be cancelled from January 2 till further notice. On the return journey, the MEMU trains running between Bishnupur and Dhanbad will also be affected. In total 13 MEMU trains have been cancelled.

Bhaga-Adra MEMU Cancelled

The MEMU train running between Bhaga and Adra will be cancelled on Saturday, December 20, while on its return journey, the train will be halted between Adra and Bhaga. Meanwhile, the Dhanbad-Bankura Memu will depart one hour late. It will depart at 3:20 pm instead of 2:30 pm. Trains are being affected on this route due to a rolling block in the Adra Railway Division.
