Railway News: The Railway on Saturday informed that the special train between Jharkhand's Dhanbad and Jammu Tawi via Delhi will not operate till mid-October. While the authority had announced cancellation of the train till the end of September, it extended further due to the poor weather. It stated that the cancellation of the train is likely to provide inconvenience to the residents of several states, including Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. It further advised the passengers to take alternative trains and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences. Apart from this, the railway also announced the cancellation of several other trains for the next few days.

The authority also informed that the Sealdah-Jammutvi Humsafar Express running via Dhanbad will only go till Ludhiana, adding that it will not travel till Jammu for the next few weeks. It further stated that the Tata-Jammutvi and Sambalpur-Jammutvi Express will operate till Amritsar and return from there.

The cancellation and short-term termination of these trains is likely to lead to issues for thousands of passengers, especially during the festive seasons. However, the railway clarified that the Kolkata-Jammutvi Express will continue to operate from both sides.

Trains to remain cancelled on these dates:

- Train number 03309 Dhanbad-Jammutvi Special will remain cancelled on October 4, 7, 11, and 14.

- Train number 03310 Jammutvi-Dhanbad Special will remain cancelled on October 5, 8, 12, and 15.

- Train number 22317 Sealdah-Jammutvi Humsafar Express will operate till Ludhiana on October 6 and 13.

- Train number 22318 Jammu Tawi-Sealdah Humsafar will run from Ludhiana on October 1, 8, and 15.

- Train number 18101 Tata-Jammu Tawi Express will run to Amritsar on October 1, 3, 5, 8, 12, and 15.

- Train number 18102 Jammu Tawi-Tata Express will run from Amritsar on October 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, and 15.

The railway has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid inconveniences.
