Railway News: The railway will carry out non-interlock work for the commissioning of automatic signaling between Govind Nagar-Tinich-Gaur-Babhanan (24.64 km) on the Gorakhpur-Gonda rail section. Due to this, trains have been cancelled, route changed, short terminated/short originated and rescheduled due to the block given on August 11 and 12. The trains will not stop temporarily at Babhanan/Gaur station. Due to this, passengers may face inconvenience.

Cancelled Trains

65115/65116 Bhatni-Ayodhya Dham-Bhatni MEMU from Bhatni and Ayodhya Dham running on August 11 and 12, 55093 Gorakhpur-Gonda passenger train, 55094 Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger train, 55031 Gorakhpur-Gonda passenger train cancelled, 55033/55034 Gorakhpur-Sitapur City-Gorakhpur passenger train, 55032 Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger train running from Gonda on August 12 and 13, 15031/15032 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Express running on August 12, 15034/15033 Lucknow Junction-Patliputra-Lucknow Junction Express will remain cancelled. 15114 Chhapra-Gomtinagar Express running on August 10 will be cancelled, 15113 Gomtinagar-Chhapra Express will be cancelled on August 11. 05131/05132 Gorakhpur-Bahraich-Gorakhpur special train, 55071/55072 passenger train running from Nakaha Junction-Nautanwa-Nakha Junction will be cancelled on August 11 and 12.

Diverted Trains

-15109 Chhapra-Mathura Junction Express running on August 11 will run on the changed route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda instead of the scheduled route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda. It will not stop at Khalilabad, Basti, Babhanan, Maskanwa and Mankapur stations.

-12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express leaving from Darbhanga on August 11 will take the changed route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda instead of the scheduled route Gorakhpur-Basti-Gonda, 12557 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminus Express from Muzaffarpur on August 11 and 12, 15655 Guwahati-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express on August 10 will go via Gorakhpur-Badhni-Gonda. 14673 Jaynagar-Amritsar Express running on August 11, 02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi special train running on 11 and 12, 02563 Barauni-New Delhi special train running on August 11 and 12, 09412 Bhagalpur-Gandhidham special train on August 11, 20103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Azamgarh Express running on August 10 and 11, 13020 Kathgodam-Howrah Express running on August 11, 5078 Gomtinagar-Kamakhya Express, 12558 Anand Vihar Terminal-Muzaffarpur Express, 15274 Anand Vihar Terminal-Raxaul Express, scheduled, 15110 Mathura Junction-Chhapra Express, 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express will run via Gorakhpur-Barhni-Gonda.

Trains Short Terminated And Rescheduled

14231 Prayagraj Sangam-Basti Express running on August 11 and 12 will terminate at Mankapur instead of Basti. This train will run from Mankapur itself as 14232 Basti-Prayagraj Sangam Express. On August 11, Anand Vihar Terminal-Bapudham Motihari Express will be rescheduled 150 minutes from Anand Vihar Terminal, 15707 Katihar-Amritsar Express will be rescheduled 120 minutes from Katihar, 12512 Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Express will be rescheduled 120 minutes from Thiruvananthapuram.

No Temporary Halt At Babhanan Station

Railway officials said that 11123 Gwalior-Barauni Mail, 15007 Varanasi City-Lucknow Junction Express, 12555 Gorakhpur-Bathinda Express, 15008 Lucknow Junction-Varanasi City Express, 22538 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Express, 11124 Barauni-Gwalior Mail, 15203 Barauni-Lucknow Junction Express, 15274 Anand Vihar Terminal-Raxaul Express, 15556 Bathinda-Gorakhpur Express, 22537 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, 15204 Lucknow Junction-Barauni Express, 19038 Barauni-Bandra Terminus Express running on August 11 will not stop at Babhanan station.

Similarly, 19037 Bandra Terminus-Barauni Express, 13020 Kathgodam-Howrah Express, 15273 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminus Express running on August 10 will also not stop at Babhanan. 19037 Bandra Terminus-Barauni Express running on August 10 and 19038 Barauni-Bandra Terminus Express and 15273 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminus Express running on August 11 will also not stop at Gaur station.
