Railway News: The Indian Railways has cancelled two trains passing through Central, while eight will be run on alternate routes on different dates. This decision has been taken due to the work of the third line between Colonelganj-Saryu-Jarwalroad-Ghaghraghat stations in Gonda-Barabanki section, jagran.com reported
Two trains will not run on different dates between June 23 and July 5. This is sure to cause problems for passengers. According to the railway public relations officer, Chhapra-Anand Vihar Terminal Express will remain cancelled on June 23, 26, 30 and July 3, Anand Vihar Terminal-Chhapra Express will remain cancelled on June 25, 28 and July 2 and 5.
Mathura-Chhapra Express will not stop at Gonda station on June 25, 27, and 30. Chhapra-Mathura Express will also pass through Chhapra-Bhatni-Mau-Varanasi-Banaras-Prayagraj and Kanpur Central on these dates. It will also not stop at many stations.
Mathura-Chhapra will go to Chhapra via Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Banaras, Varanasi, Aundihar, Mau, Bhatni on July 2. Darbhanga-New Delhi will come to Kanpur Central via Chhapra-Aundihar-Varanasi-Banaras-Prayagraj on June 28 and July 4.
Barauni-New Delhi will also reach Kanpur Central Station via the above route on the same dates. New Delhi-Barauni, New Delhi-Darbhanga will also run via the above route on the same dates. Gorakhpur-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal will reach Kanpur Central on July 1 via Gorakhpur-Bhatni-Mau-Varanasi-Banaras and Prayagraj.
