YEIDA Plot Scheme: 276 plots will be decided among 54,384 applicants under the Yamuna Authority residential plot scheme. The verification of the applicants in the YEIDA plot scheme that ended on June 21 has begun. Before the lottery, the list of applicants will be uploaded on the YEDIA website. The lottery of the scheme will be drawn on July 11, jagran.com reported

Yamuna Authority had launched the first plot scheme of the current financial year on April 21. The scheme includes 276 square metre plots of 200 square meters in Sector 18. The number of plots reserved for the general category is 214, 48 for farmers quota and 14 plots for active industries.

This time the authority had increased the allotment rates for the residential category substantially to Rs 35,000 per square metre. Due to this, there was a possibility of a decrease in the number of applications in the scheme.

The authority has received a 10 per cent registration amount of Rs 34 billion 8 crore 90 lakh 90 thousand 600 from the scheme. In this, the authority has received Rs 3 crore 71 lakh 70 thousand 600 from the sale of application forms alone.

Except for the successful applicants, the registration amount of other applicants will be refunded after the lottery. YIEDA CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh said that the lottery will be drawn on the scheduled date. Before this, the final list of applicants will be uploaded on the website.
