Railways News: The Railways on Wednesday stated that over 100 trains to Delhi were delayed on the eve of New Year due to the dense fog in the northern states. While providing details, the authority stated that several key trains, including Rajdhani, Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Humsafar expresses, arrived late in the national capital. It further stated that the trains to the northern states are also likely to get delayed on New Year's and the next few days. Apart from the train services, the dense fog has also led to disruption in the flight services. The Railways has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

While providing details, the authority stated that the trains from several states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, were running two to 16 hours late. The Lucknow Swarna Shatabdi Express was cancelled on Wednesday after running late for several consecutive days.
