Raebareli Railway News: Passengers at Raebareli Junction will soon get reliable, clean drinking water on every platform and inside train coaches. The station, which has five platforms, has received full approval to lay new drinking water pipelines along the tracks. Work is expected to start very soon, Jagran.com reported.

The new pipeline will not only improve water supply across the station premises but also allow direct filling of train coaches from the platforms, ending the long-standing problem of water shortage in trains.

Until now, many trains faced delays or skipped water refills because of poor facilities. Passengers often had to manage without safe drinking water, especially during the summer. Once the new system is ready, clean water will be available round the clock on all platforms and inside trains.

Railway officials said the project will ensure enough water pressure on every platform so that waiting passengers never run dry.

In a big boost for long-distance travellers, the Railways has also cleared the installation of RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems in selected coaches. In the first phase, RO units will be fitted in coaches of major trains, including:

- Padmavat Express

- Amritsar–Howrah Mail

- Neelachal Express

- Nauchandi Express

More trains will get the facility in later phases.

Carriage and Wagon in-charge A.K. Yadav confirmed that the survey is complete, and work will begin shortly. “Raebareli will now become a proper water-filling station for trains. Passengers will get pure drinking water throughout the year — in peak summer and even in winter,” he added.
