The contract killers have been identified as Anand Kumari, Akash Rajput and Vicky Thakur. All three are residents of Madhya Pradesh. 23-year-old Anand was arrested by the police from Bina in Uttar Pradesh, 19-year-old Akash Rajput from Lalitpur in UP and 22-year-old Vicky Thakur from Indore in MP.

The three accused returned to Indore by train after killing Raja. Sonam came to Varanasi from Meghalaya by bus and then from she took another bus to Ghazipur.

Raja Raghuvanshi (29) was found dead on June 2 in a deep gorge. His body was located with the help of a drone. Cops also recovered his mobile phone and a machete, believed to have been used in the crime.
