Rajasthan Exam Paper Leak:  The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday morning raided the premises linked to Rajasthan's Pradesh Congress Committee chief Govind Singh Dotasara in connection with the alleged 'Grade II teacher paper leak' scam. The ED sleuths from Rajasthan and Delhi are searching for six additional locations linked to influential leaders. Properties of the party's candidate from Mahua, Om Prakash Hudla are also being searched by the agency.

Enforcement Directorate has also summoned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's son Vaibhav Gehlot to inquire about his role in the violation of the FEMA Act.

"My son Vaibhav Gehlot has been summoned by the ED..," tweets Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot.

The alleged scam took place in December 2022 when the Grade II teacher recruitment exam paper, conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, surfaced on the internet hours before the actual exam. Statewide protests had erupted after police arrested 44 candidates who were solving exam papers in a running bus en route exam centre.

Last week, the probe agency confiscated ₹12 lakh in cash and "compromising" documents during searches at seven locations, including the residential properties of another Congress leader Dinesh Khodania and others. Previously, the central probe agency had arrested Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Babulal Katara and searched properties linked to him.

Congress has fielded Dotasara from the Laxmangarh seat of Sikar district in the upcoming assembly polls. Considered a seasoned Leader, Dotasara also holds influence on nearby assembly seats.

The move against the incumbent Congress chief came just a month ahead of the Rajasthan elections, where the BJP is challenging Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's bid for re-election.
