Rajasthan Road Accident: In a tragic accident, at least eight people died and 24 others got severely injured after a speeding bus collided with a trailer in Rajasthan's Dausa in the early hours of Wednesday. As per the eyewitnesses, the bus later plunged into a roadside gorge immediately after the collision on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, reported the news agency PTI. The passengers got a very little time to react and escape due to the impact of the collision, leading to panic.

Bus Was Travelling From Rishikesh To Indore
The officials, while providing details, stated that while five passengers were charred to death in the blaze, the other died due to the severe head injuries. "The bus was travelling from Rishikesh in Uttarakhand to Indore in Madhya Pradesh when it collided with a truck moving ahead of it on the expressway," Piyush Dixit, Dausa Superintendent of Police, was quoted as saying by PTI.
He further stated that the impact of collision caused fire in both the vehicles, adding that the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Apart from this, the critically injured passengers have been referred to higher medical centres for advance care, reported the news agency ANI.
The police and team of fire brigade, upon receiving the information, rushed to the site and carried out the rescue operation with the help of locals. While the exact reason behind the accident is not known yet, the collision happened after the bus driver lost the control, the locals stated. The officials have seized both the damaged vehicles and have launched a detailed probe into the matter.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least four people died and 25 got severely injured after a high-speeding bus collided with a trailer on the Yamuna Expressway in the early hours of Tuesday. As per the eyewitnesses, the collision was severe and created chaos among the passengers and the local residents. While several people died on the spot due to the impact of the collision, the injured passengers were rushed to a local hospital.
