Rajasthan Weather Update: Rajasthan is experiencing a sudden change in weather, bringing relief from the scorching heat. Several parts of the state saw rainfall and hailstorms on Saturday, which led to a significant drop in temperatures. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has now issued a rain alert for 11 districts, warning of heavy showers and strong winds over the coming days.

According to IMD, no heatwave conditions are expected in Rajasthan for the next week. A western disturbance is currently active in the region, which will likely bring more rain, thunderstorms, and hailstorms. The weather department has advised people to stay cautious as unstable weather conditions may continue until May 7.

On Sunday, May 4, a rain alert has been issued for 11 districts, with the possibility of thunder, lightning, and strong winds. From May 5 to 7, parts of Udaipur, Pali, and Jodhpur may experience intense rainfall with thunderstorms. Barmer, Jalore, and nearby areas could also witness heavy rain during this period, with wind speeds reaching up to 50 km/h.

Despite the recent showers, some cities are still experiencing high temperatures. Chittorgarh recorded the highest daytime temperature of 43 degrees C, while nine other cities saw temperatures above 41 degrees C. Phalodi registered the highest night temperature at 31.8 degrees C.

Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest forecasts and take precautions against lightning and strong winds.
