The first glimpses of the idol of Ram Lalla, portraying Lord Ram as a five-year-old adorned in magnificent gold jewelry, were unveiled following the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya's new Ram Temple today.

The 51-inch idol, carved from black stone, stood draped in a yellow dhoti, adorned with a dazzling golden crown and necklaces while holding a golden bow and arrow. The imagery of Lord Ram in his childhood form displayed grandeur and devotion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Pran Pratisthta or consecration ceremony on Monday along with other priests in the Garbh Griha of the newly constructed Ram Mandir. During the sacred event, the Prime Minister personally performed an aarti inside the sanctum sanctorum.

The detailed craftsmanship and the symbolic elements adorning the idol mark a significant cultural and religious milestone. The whole country was awaiting this historic moment and people celebrated this occasion all around by lighting diyas, firecrackers, and bhajans at every corner.

The grand event was attended by several dignitaries such as UP CM Yogi Adityanath, businessman Mukesh Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood celebs Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Sonu Nigam, Vivek Oberoi and others.

The joy was not just limited to India, Indians across the world celebrated the Ram Mandir inauguration. The Indian diaspora in the US, UK, Australia, Mauritius, and Nepal also celebrated the grand Pran Pratishtha ceremony with great joy and happiness.
