The security guard of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena president, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was injured in the recent attack on the Rajput leader, passed away at Sawai Man Singh Hospital on Tuesday. Ajit Singh had sustained bullet injuries during the assault at Gogamedi's residence in Shyam Nagar on December 5.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Yogesh Goyal confirmed the death, revealing that Singh was undergoing treatment at SMS Hospital and succumbed to his injuries. 

Law enforcement authorities arrested three individuals, including the two shooters. The shooters, Fauji and Rathore, had engaged Gogamedi in conversation before opening fire. The Crime Branch of Delhi Police, in collaboration with Rajasthan Police, apprehended the suspects in Chandigarh.

Earlier, on December 9, Jaipur police arrested Ramveer Singh, a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana, in connection with the murder. Singh allegedly facilitated arrangements for Nitin Fauji in Jaipur.

In a Facebook post, gangster Rohit Godara, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder, citing Gogamedi's alleged support for their enemies.

"We take full responsibility for Gogamedi's murder. He was killed because he used to help our enemies... He used to work to strengthen them," Godara wrote in a Facebook post.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, formerly associated with Rashtriya Karni Sena, had founded Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena after a dispute within the organisation. Known for his prominent role in the protests following the Bollywood film Padmavat and the Anandpal encounter case, Gogamedi's videos on these issues went viral on social media.
