Saharanpur-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express: In a major update, the Indian Railways has made a change in the schedule of the Saharanpur-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express train. According to the new schedule released by the railway, the Vande Bharat will depart Saharanpur at 5:05 AM.

On its return journey, it will depart from Lucknow's Gomti Nagar station at 3:10 PM. According to the previously released schedule, Vande Bharat was scheduled to depart from Lucknow in the morning and from Saharanpur in the afternoon.

Railway Coaching Director Sanjay R Neelam has released the revised timetable for the Saharanpur-Gomti Nagar Vande Bharat Express. However, the date for the regular operation of the train has not yet been determined. Last month, the Railways announced a new Vande Bharat Express between Saharanpur and Lucknow.

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated train

The Saharanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express train was inaugurated on November 8 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually. According to the schedule, the Vande Bharat Express will cover the distance from Saharanpur to Lucknow in just eight hours, while other express trains take 10 to 12 hours to reach Lucknow.

Therefore, it will reduce the travel time by at least 4 hours. The reduced travel time will provide significant relief to passengers. According to the new schedule, Vande Bharat will depart from Saharanpur at 5:05 am and arrive at Gomti Nagar station at 2:05 pm. On its return journey, the train will depart Gomti Nagar approximately one hour and five minutes later at 3:10 pm and arrive in Lucknow at 11:50 pm.

Stations 

According to the railway's schedule, the Vande Bharat Express will run six days a week and will not operate on Mondays. The train will stop at Gomtinagar, Daliganj, Sitapur Junction, Shahjahanpur Junction, Bareilly Junction, Moradabad Junction, Najibabad Junction, Roorkee, and Saharanpur in both directions.

During Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav's visit to Saharanpur, city MLA Rajiv Gumbar demanded the running of the Vande Bharat Express train between Chandigarh and Lucknow. The Railway Minister then assured him that the train would be operational soon.

The Railway Board, in a meeting held on October 15, gave the green light to the operation of the Saharanpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat train. Following the train's inauguration, city MLA Rajiv Gumbar demanded that it operate from Saharanpur in the morning and from Lucknow in the afternoon.

Vande Bharat Express between Dehradun and Anand Vihar

The Vande Bharat Express previously operated from Dehradun to Anand Vihar via Saharanpur. The train departs Dehradun at 7:00 AM, arrives in Saharanpur at 9:27 AM, and arrives in Anand Vihar at 11:45 AM. On its return journey, it departs Anand Vihar at 5:50 PM and arrives in Saharanpur at 7:55 PM.
