Indian Railways Update: Northern Railway is restoring several trains to Jammu and Katra. This will provide relief to thousands of passengers. The railway infrastructure was affected due to heavy rains and floods in August.
According to an order by the railway spokesperson, train number 14662 Jammu Tawi-Barmer Express will remain cancelled till November 30 and will be restored from December 1. Similarly, train number 14661 Barmer-Jammu Tawi Express will remain cancelled till December 3 and will be restored from December 4.
Restored Trains
-Train No. 22462 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - New Delhi Vande Bharat Express has been cancelled till November 30. It will be restored from December 1.
-Train No. 22461 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express will remain cancelled till 1st December and will resume operations from 2nd December.
-Train No. 74907 Pathankot-Udhampur DMU Passenger will remain cancelled till November 30. It will be restored from December 1, 2025.
-Similarly, train number 74906 Udhampur-Pathankot DMU Passenger will remain cancelled till December 1 and its operation will start normally from December 2.
Passengers will benefit from the resumption of the Jammu Tawi-Barmer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Pathankot-Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan, and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan-Pathankot trains.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal said these trains are being reinstated after ensuring the safety and continuity of the railway tracks.
These trains are being operated in the seventh phase, following the previous six phases of resumption of train services. Other train services in the division will also be gradually restored. To avoid any inconvenience, passengers are advised to check train schedules on the Northern Railway website or relevant helpline numbers before traveling.
