The Mumbai Police on Monday nabbed two persons allegedly involved in firing outside the residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The duo has been arrested from Gujarat’s Bhuj, ANI reported citing the Mumbai Crime Branch. The accused have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Officials said they fled Mumbai after orchestrating the firing incident. As per reports, Vishal is associated with Rohit Godara, who is a member of the notorious Bishnoi gang.
Firing Incident Outside Salman Khan’s House:
On Sunday early morning, a firing incident unfolded outside Galaxy Apartments, where the actor Salman Khan resides, as two unidentified men opened fire and quickly fled the scene. Law enforcement agencies swiftly responded to the incident. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects arrived on a motorcycle, their faces concealed under helmets, suggesting a carefully orchestrated attack.

They fired two rounds outside the actor’s house and a live cartridge was also recovered from the spot.
CM Shinde Speaks To Salman Khan:
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde dialled the Bollywood actor after the incident. Shinde said they had launched an investigation into the incident and the actor’s security would be heightened. Shinde also spoke with the Mumbai Police Commissioner about the incident.
Since November 2022, Salman Khan's security has been heightened to Y-Plus due to threats posed by gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Additionally, Khan has been permitted to carry a personal firearm and has procured a new armoured vehicle to enhance his protection.
Anmol Bishnoi Claims Responsibility:
Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s house through a social media post. He said it was just a ‘trailer’, issuing a ‘final warning’ to the actor. "We have only shown you a trailer so that you understand the magnitude of our strength and do not test it. This is the first and last warning," the post read.
