Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a fresh death threat message from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to news agency ANI, the threat message was received at the Mumbai Traffic Control Room on Thursday night. Following this, a case has been registered by the Worli Police and an investigation is underway. 

The recent threat to Salman Khan is reportedly linked to a controversial song that mentions his name in connection with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threat warns the songwriter behind the song of severe consequences within a month. “The songwriter's condition will be such that he will no longer be able to write songs. If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save them," the threat message was quoted by NDTV.

Third Threat To Salman In Two Weeks

This is the third such threat Khan has received in two weeks. Earlier, the Mumbai Police received a WhatsApp threat directed at Salman Khan, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message delivered to the traffic control room issued Khan an ultimatum: either make a public apology or pay Rs 5 crore to secure his safety.

Earlier on October 30, an unidentified individual demanded Rs 2 crore from Khan. Khan has faced similar threats in recent days. Earlier, an attempt was made by two individuals to enter his Panvel farmhouse with fake identification and a threatening email reportedly from gangster Goldy Brar in 2023. 

Shah Rukh Khan Receives Similar Threat

The fresh death threat to Salman Khan comes after Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan received a similar death threat. The Bandra Police received a call on Tuesday, where the caller threatened Khan and demanded a Rs 50 lakh ransom.

The contact number was reportedly traced to Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur, who claimed his phone was stolen. Faizan has been summoned for questioning by the Mumbai police. The caller, who identified himself as “Hindustani,” warned that he would kill Khan unless the ransom was paid.
