Noida News: A man has been arrested for allegedly attempting to break into the home of Seema Haider, claiming she had cast "black magic" on him. The suspect, identified as Tejas, is a resident of Surendranagar, Gujarat. He was apprehended by police on Saturday evening around 7 PM, appearing to be "mentally disturbed."

According to officials, Tejas had travelled to New Delhi with a general coach train ticket and took a bus to reach the village where Haider resides. Police discovered he had screenshots of Seema on his mobile phone, raising concerns about his intentions.

The Times of India report cited Sujeet Upadhyay, in charge of Rabupura Kotwali, as confirming Tejas's arrest and stating that during questioning, he claimed Seema had harmed him through black magic. "During interrogation, he told police that Seema had done black magic on him," he added. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident.

In a separate development, Seema Haider’s lawyer, AP Singh, has denied allegations linking her to the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. In a video message, Singh stated that Seema legally converted to Sanatana Dharma and married Indian national Sachin Meena in Nepal before moving to India. He emphasised that Seema has not travelled anywhere in the country except to her in-laws' home and a hospital.

Seema Haider, 32, came into the spotlight in July 2023 after crossing into India illegally from Pakistan with her four children. She had befriended Sachin Meena via the online gaming platform PUBG and later moved in with him. The couple now lives in Greater Noida with their daughter.
