The fight between INDIA bloc partners, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, lead to the Bharatiya Janata Party's historic victory in the Delhi Election 2025, Sena-UBT Mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ said. It questioned the need for an opposition alliance when the members are still fighting among themselves instead of uniting against the saffron party.

As per Election Commission of India (ECI), BJP won 48 out of 70 seats, while AAP managed only 22 constituencies. Meanwhile, the Congress once again struggled to make an impact.

In a shocking turn of events, AAP’s top leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, lost their respective seats in New Delhi and Jangpura.

Kejriwal faced a major defeat against BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh, who is being considered a potential chief ministerial candidate.

“In Delhi, both AAP and Congress fought to destroy each other, making things easier for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. If this continues, why even form alliances? Just fight to your heart's content!” the editorial in Saamana read.

Both the AAP and Congress had taken several potshots at each other throughout the campaigning for the Delhi election.
