Pune Metro Update: Transportation infrastructure in Pune will see a major boost with the proposed of a new metro line from Civil Court to Yeolewadi, passing through Kondhwa. This project is likely to be completed by 2034 and will improve connectivity, reduce traffic congestion, and initiate development in the Kondhwa region.

Pune Metro: New Line To Connect THESE Routes

The new proposed metro route will connect Civil Court to Kondhwa Budruk, Kondhwa Khurd, and Yeolewadi, with additional routes for Hadapsar Saswad Road and Hadapsar Loni Kalbhor also getting the green light. This decision follows a meeting hosted by the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation at Vidhan Bhavan, Pune, where MLA Chetan Tupe emphasized the importance of these routes for the city’s future.

The final phase of Pune’s comprehensive transport plan is now underway, with discussions continuing on additional metro routes to address the city’s growing transportation needs. Tupe has actively contributed valuable input during these discussions to help shape Pune’s transportation future.
