Madhya Pradesh Congress MLAs resorted to a unique way of protest against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state over several issues, including corruption and unemployment. The Opposition legislators played the snake-charmer’s flute at the premises of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Tuesday. A couple of members dressed themself as buffaloes. They portrayed the animals as the government to stage 'bhains ke aage bin bajana' the Hindi phrase, saying it is not listening to people's voices.
Protesting MLAs said they staged this dramatic protest to wake up the 'deaf government'. People are facing trouble due to rampant corruption and youth are waiting for vacancies, but this government has turned a deaf ear, said a protesting MLA.

MP Congress MLAs Stage Protest With Plastic Snakes Over Unemployment
This is not the first time that when MP Congress MLA has adopted an out-of-the-box idea to attack the government. Earlier in March this year, Congress legislators staged a protest with plastic snakes in the assembly complex. They accused the BJP government of sitting on government job vacancies like a serpent.
Congress MLAs, led by Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar, gathered in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue with plastic snakes in baskets and raised slogans, accusing the state government of failing to provide jobs to the youth of the state. Singhar claimed youngsters were running from pillar to post for jobs, while the government has stopped recruitment in the police, education, irrigation and health departments.
