SpiceJet Winter Flights: In addition to its previously launched 32 winter flights, SpiceJet announced on Wednesday that eight additional flights will begin operating on November 15, 2024. Additionally, SpiceJet said that it will use its 78-seater Q400 aircraft on the recently added routes from Ahmedabad to Pune and from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad.
SpiceJet introduced 32 additional flights last month as part of their winter schedule, which started on October 27, 2024. The airline hopes to increase connectivity and provide customers with more travel alternatives with 30 local flights and two foreign flights that operate nonstop daily service between Delhi and Phuket.
Furthermore, twice-daily flights between Chennai and Kochi were inaugurated, along with UDAN flights connecting Shivamogga, Karnataka, with Chennai and Hyderabad.
“These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” said Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet.
Bookings for the additional flights are now open, the low-cost airline added, and tickets may be purchased via its website, mobile app, online travel portals, and travel agencies.
SpiceJet shares rose 4.2 percent to a day high of 59.29 on the BSE after the firm announced the launch of 32 additional flights for the winter schedule, seeking to improve connectivity and give customers with more alternatives.
