A PT teacher along with two women teachers in a school in Greater Noida assaulted and abused a student of class 11 for chanting 'Jai Shri Ram'. The parents of the boy claimed that their son was expelled from school as a result of the incident.
According to father Deepak Sharma's complaint, the incident took place on August 15 while his son Lakshay Sharma was in class. He joined the other students in the school, who were chanting 'Jai Shree Ram', when he heard them.
Following which, Lakshay was dragged out of the classroom and reprimanded by Yatish, the PT teacher, and two other female teachers. According to Deepak Sharma, Yatish thrashed Lakshay when he attempted to defend himself.
Lakshay told his uncle Vikrant Sharma the entire story when he arrived at the school to pick him up. After that, they tried to complain about the incident to Asha Sharma, the school principal, but they were turned away.
The accused instructor rejected all the allegations after Lakshay's father addressed the school principal for the second time. The PT teacher said he beat Lakshay solely to restore discipline among students.
The father said that they had received threats from the principal of the school and her husband who is co-director of the school. Lakshay's father filed a complaint, requesting action be taken against the alleged teacher.
