Surat News: An 18-year-old vlogger known online as ‘PKR Blogger’ died in a horrific road accident in Surat, Gujarat, after his KTM Duke motorcycle crashed while he was allegedly riding at high speed. The victim, identified as Prince Patel, suffered fatal injuries and police confirmed he was decapitated in the collision.
CCTV Footage Shows Bike Moving at Extreme Speed
Surveillance footage captured the moment Prince descended the Great Liner Bridge at what police believe was around 140 kmph. The video shows him losing control, falling off the motorcycle and rolling across the road multiple times. His bike continued to drag along the road divider before halting several hundred metres away.
According to a NDTV report, Preliminary findings suggest he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Family Background And Ongoing Police Investigation
Prince Patel’s mother reportedly lives in a shelter and earns an income by selling milk. Police have registered a case and are examining all angles, including overspeeding and safety violations.
Who Was Prince Patel?
Prince was well-known among teenagers for his motorcycle reels and fast-riding videos on social media. His Instagram page highlights his attachment to his KTM Duke 390, which he is believed to have purchased in September. He frequently posted stylised videos featuring the bike, which he had named “Laila.”
Just four days before the crash, he uploaded a video referencing himself as “Majnu,” expressing affection for his bike even “in heaven,” accompanied by a dialogue describing an eternal bond. The video ended with a song from the film Laila Majnu, reflecting his emotional connection to the bike.
Police continue to investigate the crash while road safety concerns and the risks of high-speed social media stunts come into focus.
