Tamil Nadu Floods: Cyclone Fengal has wreaked havoc in many parts of Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, dramatic images from the Uthangarai bus terminal emerged, showing floodwaters submerging buses and other vehicles in the aftermath of the cyclonic storm, leaving them helplessly adrift.
Several vehicles have been caught on camera getting swept away by the rapid currents, demonstrating the severity of the floods brought by Cyclone Fengal's rain.
According to officials, Krishnagiri experienced continuous rainfall for more than 14 hours, with the Uthangarai area receiving the most rainfall overnight.

The swelling waves also stranded numerous individuals in various parts of Southern India, necessitating ongoing relief and rescue activities in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Cyclone Fengal, which crossed the shores of North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Saturday, now weakened into a deep depression during the next several days, according to the India Meteorological Department.
In Puducherry, the Indian Army used an inflatable boat to safely rescue a baby who was stuck in a house encircled by floodwaters.
Additionally, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is still conducting rescues in affected areas, including Cuddalore, using boats to reach those in need, while volunteers from IIT Madras are helping to rescue a family in Tiruvannamalai district that was trapped in a landslide.
Kerala Weather Alert
Cyclone Fengal, which is presently positioned as a powerful low-pressure region over northern Tamil Nadu, is expected to cause considerable rainfall in Kerala, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned Monday.
By December 3, the system is predicted to travel over northern Kerala and Karnataka and intensify as it approaches the Arabian Sea.
