Earlier in October this year, a 58-year-old woman from Nesappakkam passed away mid-air on a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai, reportedly due to a heart attack.

The passenger, identified as Kalaiyarasi, was returning to India following her two-day journey. After the flight landed at Chennai International Airport around 11:10 pm, passengers began disembarking.

The crew members then tried to wake Kalaiyarasi, but she remained unresponsive. However, it was confirmed that she had already died, likely due to a massive heart attack in her sleep.
