Telangana Rave Party: In a crackdown on Illegal drug activities, authorities have busted a rave party taking place at a farmhouse in Moinabad town of Telangana. The Rajendranagar Special Operations Team (SOT) carried out a raid at Oaks Farmhouse and detained 65 people, including 22 minors.
The raid was carried out on suspicion of a drug party. Upon arrival, police found 65 individuals gathered for a ‘Trap House Party’ advertised through Instagram. Of the total indulging in drug consumption, 22 were minors, including 5 girls. A total of 12 girls were present there.
Blood tests conducted on individuals confirmed that two of them had consumed Ganja (marijuana). One of the confirmed users is Ishaan, the individual who reportedly organised the event, while the second one was a minor.
Moinabad Inspector G Pawan Kumar Reddy informed that Ishaan is a second-year private college student who came to India in 2024 and is suspected of being a regular consumer of drugs.
The rave party was advertised through Instagram with the name ‘Trap House Party’, and tickets for the party were sold for Rs 1600 and Rs 2800. Tickets were sold at Rs 1600 for singles and Rs 2800 for couples.

The event was advertised on Instagram through the account "Trap House. 9MM", reportedly managed by a Hyderabad-based DJ. The party promotions promised an unforgettable experience, claiming it would be held on Saturday from 6 PM to 2 AM with the tagline "an experience of joy you've never had in your life."

According to a report by NDTV, police have officially informed the families of minors. The charges include Section 27 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act, and also organising a ticketed event without proper police permission.
