A tragic incident occurred in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district on Monday, where two young girls, aged four and five, suffocated to death after accidentally being locked inside a car. The girls, Tanmayi Sri (5) and Abhinaya Sri (4), were cousins visiting their relative's house in Damargidda village.

According to the police, the incident happened around noon when the two girls, while playing, entered the car parked near the house. Unaware of their presence, family members assumed the children were playing outside. It wasn’t until about two hours later, around 2 pm, that relatives checked the car and found the girls unconscious.

The family immediately unlocked the car and rushed them to the Chevella government hospital. Sadly, doctors confirmed that both girls had passed away due to suffocation.
