Umesh Pal Murder Case: A chargesheet has been filed in the court against Guddu Muslim, Arman Bihari and Sabir, accused in lawyer Umesh Pal's murder outside his residence in the Sulem Sarai area of Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj district on February 24, 2023. A reward of Rs 5 lakh each has been announced on the three accused.
Umesh Pal and his two police guards were killed by firing and bombing in the Jayantipur locality of Dhoomanganj, last year. Accused in the case -- Atiq's wife Shaista Parveen, his sister Ayesha Noori, Ashraf's wife Zainab and the assailants -- Guddu Muslim, Mohd. Arman and Sabir -- are absconding.
Four Accused Killed In Encounter
Atiq's son Asad, shooter Ghulam, Usman Chaudhary and the shooters' car driver Arbaaz were killed in an encounter between the STF and the police. Nafees Ahmed alias Nafees Biryani, who provided the car to the shooters, has died of a heart attack. The main accused mafia Atiq and his brother Ashraf, named in the case, have also been killed.
11 People Arrested And Sent To Jail
Servant Rakesh alias Lala, driver Cash Ahmed, Arshad Katra, Niaz Ahmed, Iqbal Ahmed, Shahrukh, lawyer Khan Shaulat Hanif and Atiq's brother-in-law Dr Akhlaq Ahmed and another person involved in the murder conspiracy have been arrested and sent to jail. Apart from this, the main conspirator Sadakat Khan and lawyer Vijay Mishra are also behind bars. In this case, Atiq's sons Ali Ahmed and Umar have also been made accused, who are in jail.
Fourth Chargesheet Filed In Court
In this murder case, the first charge sheet was presented in the court against Sadakat Khan. After this, a charge sheet along with a 1979 page case diary was presented in the court against eight accused. The third charge sheet has been filed in the court against advocate Vijay Mishra. Now the fourth charge sheet has been filed against shooter Sabir, Arman Bihari and bomber Guddu Muslim.
